At the southernmost tip of Manhattan, Battery Park is the crown jewel of Downtown, offering sweeping vistas of New York Harbor and the Statue of Liberty. Its peaceful, leafy walkways and expansive green lawns are an oasis from the concrete canyons of the Financial District. The park is marked by the Whitehall Ferry Terminal to the south and Castle Clinton National Monument to the north.

The lawn of Battery Park is an incredible outdoor location for many of River To River’s largest events, including a blockbuster July 4th concert and the acclaimed Evening Stars dance series. There is ample space to stand or stretch out on the grass; you’re also welcome to bring a blanket or beach chair.
