Located at 55 Water Street (between Old Slip and Broad Streets), the Elevated Acre offers breath-taking views of the East River, Ellis Island, Brooklyn Bridge, South Street Seaport and Brooklyn Heights. The superb design of this relatively unknown harbor-view park is marked by a Beacon of Light; a 50-foot-high lantern of translucent glass bands illuminated from within — a truly awesome sight.

The Elevated Acre is host to several River To River events including The Movie Nights on the Elevated Acre series — Monday nights in July. There’s plenty of room to stand, set up a lawn chair, or spread out a blanket. All River To River events at the Elevated Acre are free
