Seaport Music: Avi Buffalo and Chad VanGaalen

Avi Buffalo, the adopted name of nineteen year-old singer/songwriter/guitarist Avigdor Zahner-Isenberg, began as a solo act, but now includes the talented Rebecca Coleman (keyboards, vocals), Arin Fazio (bass) and Sheridan Riley (drums). The Guardian (UK) dubbed the band's self-titled debut album, “one of 2010's most startlingly lovable albums.”

Recalling Neil Young at his most fragile and plaintive, and Thurston Moore at his most resolved and vital, Chad VanGaalen completes the night. Presented by The Seaport. 6pm DJ, 7pm bands.
