Don't miss an exciting summer on Gov Island! Enjoy five miles of car-free biking, picnicking, free concerts, festivals and exhibits and more. Ongoing summer highlights include the No Longer Empty exhibition, a multisensory journey to an alternate reality via Governors Island's history; the FIGMENT Interactive Sculpture Garden & MiniGolf Course where visitors can explore fantastical interactive installations; and Encounters, and island-wide exhibition organized by the Sculptors Guild. And on Fridays, borrow a bike from Bike and Roll and see the island on two wheels. The Island (including all three exhibits) is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through October 10.
