New York City Opera: La Navarraise

New York City Opera: La Navarraise
The River To River Festival brings New York City Opera's popular Opera For All program to the World Financial Center's Winter Garden with a concert performance of La Navarraise, a rarely performed Massenet opera.  In this gripping one-act work, a turbulent love story unfolds against the backdrop of civil war in Spain.  Performed by the New York City Opera soloists and orchestra, La Navarraise reveals the composer of Manon and Thais at his lyrical best.

how long is the performance?
— sally , 2009-06-24 11:25 AM
what time do you recommend that we come in order to get good seats?
— scarletshine , 2009-06-24 11:25 AM
The performance will be approximately an hour long. No idea what time you'll need to get there to get good seats. Usually half an hour to an hour before you're safe, but it's very hard to predict when we don't know how many people will show up or how early they will get there!

Is the event indoors or outdoors? Will the performance still go on if it rains?
— Jenny , 2009-06-25 04:39 PM
Indoors. So, yes, it will go on even if it rains.
